Patrick Joseph Donohoe
July 6, 1952 - September 14, 2022
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Patrick Joseph Donohoe. He was a beloved uncle, brother, devoted son and friend to many. "Pat" was born on July 6, 1952 at Popefield Air Force base, Fort Bragg, NC to the late Mr and Mrs Gerald Donohoe. He grew up in Kennett Square, PA and graduated from Kennett High School.
He was a talented artist and musician. He loved watching baseball but hated commercials, he would utilize that time to share a funny story. He loved to make us laugh as he shared his antics from his time as a corrections officer or childhood stories of how he got blamed for everything his sisters did. He enjoyed nature and when able he would explore the beautiful Tennessee mountains that he was proud to call home.
Pat was preceded in death by his father Gerald "Jerry" Donohoe of Kennett Square, PA and mother, Barbara Donohoe, who he lived with until her passing. He is also preceded by his sisters Charlene Donohoe of Mountain City TN and Lynn Jamieson of Lawrenceville, GA.
He is survived by his nieces that will forever cherish his memories and art, Jacquelyn and Brandon Weaver of Elizabethton TN, Kelly and Dennie Martin of Toccoa, GA, Katherine and Jon Rosen of Jefferson, GA, and Melissa Hamilton and Brian Eastburn, CA, several great nieces and nephews he was blessed with, Isabella Weaver and Austin Emore, Jaylan, and Daegan Patrick Weaver (his namesake) of Elizabethton, TN, Taylor, Ryleigh, Emmitt and baby boy Rosen on the way in Jefferson, GA, and special neighbors Brackin and Jarrett Potter and their children Haley Potter, Maddisun Potter, Elijah Blakely, and Marley Potter that were loved like family.
